The dreams came back for Loras as well, the first time since the last time he'd dreamed them. The air was thin and there was talk of a winter that would leave only the strongest man behind. The strongest man was next to him, smiling at him with thick pink lips and handsome features, the most handsome Loras had ever seen. Loras felt his heart pound faster, felt his face flush hot, tasted Renly's lips and tongue.
When he woke up, he tried to push it all out of his memory, but it was there. He'd forced himself from the bed, aching from the fights the night before. That was what had happened. No Renly. No knights. No deadly winter coming. Just a swollen jaw and tender cuts. He hissed and went to the bathroom first before going downstairs to get an orange from the kitchen. He glanced to the living room and saw Obi still sleeping.
