"Well, you know I'm here if you ever want to talk about it or go find a place to break things to get your emotions out," she hadn't lost any of her immediate family members, so she didn't understand his level of grief, but she wanted to help him. She knew it was affecting him more than he probably cared to admit to anyone, "And I'm always allowed to be surprised. It's part of the fun."
"Is taking care of a bruise the same as a sprained ankle? Do we use ice?" she mused aloud as she reached her hands down to toy with the hem of his shirt. Her eyes flicked back up to his as she smiled. The last thing on her mind was the fact that he was missing any arm, she really didn't think about that when she was with him, "But I'm up for it."
