Johnny could always appreciate someone who wasn't afraid to have a good laugh, even if it was something they'd laughed at a hundred times. Sometimes old, bad, lame jokes were the best ones. They'd been trading lame jokes for the past while, trying not to snort their respective beverages and asphyxiate themselves, and it was good. It was very good.
Finally, when the laughed wound down, Johnny stood, and shook his new friend's hand. "It was nice meeting you, too. Give my regards to the missus--and I hope I haven't kept you too long."
