She didn't see him coming, she was so focused on getting her coffee, that Ana Lucia nearly jumped at the sound of her name.
"Oh! Hey. Totally didn't see you. David, right. Yeah, I’m Ana Lucia. Nice to meet you." She smiled brightly at him and held out a hand to shake. It was warm out today, as it was every day (unlike New York this time of year) so she had on skinny jeans and sandals and a fairly form fitting t-shirt - essentially her 'off the clock' outfit. Sunglasses were still propped on top of her head amidst her dark wavy hair.
She was going to say more when one of the young people behind the counter bellowed, "CORTEZ?!"
"Hold on a sec, that's me." and she nearly barreled her way through the crowd to get to her coffee. Returning triumphantly she sipped at it and then seemed to remember her sunglasses on her head. She made a face at herself and then plucked them off and hung them off of her purse. "Oops. Forgot those were there."
She glanced about for a table. "You see any tables open on your way in?"
