David was a much simpler man. He ordered a coffee, black, and that was it. Sometimes he'd treat himself, but for the most part he found a brewed coffee as satisfying as anything else. Besides, having seen the crowd huddled around the hand-off area, he figured he was better off this way.
But he did spy Ana amidst them. Thankfully, his brain had decided to remember her, which saved some awkward asking around. Coffee in hand, he walked over with a smile on his face.
