Who: Piers & Miguel
When: Monday, Afternoon
Where: Newport Beach
What: Swimming and Surfing
Status: In Progress
Rating: Low

Piers had decided to go to the beach today. While he did live near one, he preferred to go to some of the others. He still had the preference of not being seem by those he lived near. It was easier to befriend people who weren't from his area, since he felt that they wouldn't pry as much. That's what led him to Newport beach, and since he had a motorcycle, which used to be his fathers, it made traveling through the traffic a bit easier.

Once he found a place to park and stored away his shirt and shoes, he made to the water. There was a good amount of people in the vicinity but given that it was a Monday, the crowd wasn't so bad. Rather than waiting to adjust to the chill of water slowly, he just dove in. There was a sort of exhilarating rush when his body was in the water but it was refreshing, nevertheless. As he walked further into the water, he glanced around noting a few surfers. He'd never been surfing but maybe learning would be something that could occupy his time. First, he'd swim, then maybe he'd speak to a surfer about lessons, or training.
