"It's a subject that's never going to go away... if you hadn't said it now, it would've come up sooner or later." Honestly, Haruka had longed to be normal for practically all of her life. She'd wanted to either be like the other girls, or just be completely male, or anything that kept her body from feeling so wrong.
Since she'd started presenting as male, things had become easier, but not that much. The few people who she'd discussed the subject with, using purely hypothetical situations to disguise her identity, had just outright asked why she didn't just transition to male if she hated her female body that much. They didn't seem to understand that it was nowhere near that simple.
She let out a shaky breath, steeling herself as she lightly brushed Michiru's tears away. "You at least asked. You didn't try to take it off without asking me. That's... probably the most important thing."
Who knew, maybe she'd manage to convince her before the end of the night. Stranger things had certainly happened.
