Callisto liked this place, Always. The drinks were reasonable, the barstaff were pretty friendly and the bouncers were far hotter than any of the other bars nearby. You could also find some of the best fights here on a saturday night.
Bo had been told to check the place out, so she showed up. She wanted to explore a little and scope it out, see if this was the kind of place where she wanted to work. So she ordered a drink, and nursed it for a few minutes, watching the people as they wandered in and socialized.
Callisto was leaning back against the bar, nursing a whiskey as she watched the crowd move and talk. There was a couple in one of the booths on the far wall making out, a couple having a quiet but intense looking argument on the edge of the dance floor and six lads seemingly harassing a woman in the middle of the dance floor. This one intrigued her, why was the girl on her own? Why would you come to a bar on your own if she were?
Bo noticed the poor girl on her own on the dance floor, too. She didn’t like the way those dudes were harassing her. She downed the last of her drink, then pushed off the bar to head in the girl’s direction. One step up behind the girl and she came face to face with the ringleader.
“I think I heard her say back off.” Bo said, raising an eyebrow.
Callisto raised an eyebrow as a woman approached the altercation, unusual for this sort of joint, most people would have turned and looked the other way. She swirled the liquid in her glass with a wry smile as the guys talked back to the new girl with blatant disregard for their safety. Callisto knocked back her drink and slid it across the bar to the cute bartender with a wink before pushing off the bar and moving over to the group. “Now now boys, you don’t want to be embarrassed in front of all these ladies do you?” she mocked them lightly.
“Embarrassed?” The lead guy asked, then the lot of them burst into laughter. “Come now, little lady, you can’t think I’m gonna be embarrassed here.” He motioned, and two of the guys reached forward to take hold of the woman they’d been harrassing.
That was enough for Bo. “Keep your hands... off!” She reached forward, took hold of one of the grabbers by the wrist, and twisted it back. Hard. Then her free hand made a fist and made fast, hard contact with the dude’s nose.
Callisto grinned and shook her head at the idiot, holding the hand of the other one who reached for the girl against her shoulder and thrust the heel of her hand against his elbow. The snap she heard was satisfying, the guy crumpled to his knees and one of his buddies stepped forward with a pissed off look on his face. She smiled, ducking a wild haymaker and brought her elbow down hard on the side of his head, kneeing him in the stomach as he doubled over. She cast a glance over to her partner and flashed a grin, "Callisto, nice to meet you!"
One guy was clutching a broken nose, one guy a broken elbow, one guy doubled over and coughing. Bo had simply head-butted the fourth, and two remained. “Bo!” She said, ducking under a really faulty punch She took hold of the guy’s arm, used his own momentum, and sent him flying over the bar behind them. “Pleasure’s all mine!”
Callisto chuckled, dropping to the ground and sweeping the last man’s feet out from under him, landing him heavily on his back. “Outstanding,” she laughed, placing her foot on his neck, her heel digging deeply into the skin. “Now,” she addressed the man beneath her foot. “I believe you have something to say to the lady,” she gestured to the woman stood a few feet away watching the two girls take down the group of jerks.
When every last one of them was groaning and clutching a body part, or crawling away slowly and coughing up blood, Bo felt her muscles relax just a little. She hadn’t taken any hits there. It almost wasn’t fun if she didn’t get hit once. She waited while the man choked out something of an apology to the poor woman--who, by the way, looked like she wanted the dance floor to open up and swallow her down.
“Good boy,” Callisto mocked. “Now run along home and tell all your friends that you got your ass handed to you be a pair of girls,” she smiled, pushing the man away from her in disdain with her foot. She turned to her newest friend and held out her hand, “Pleasure to make your acquaintance. Drink?”
“Yes, please.” Bo turned to Callisto, and wandered with her toward the bar. She gave the simpering young woman a gentle “you’re welcome” as they passed, but didn’t pay her much mind. The poor thing should really go home. Even as they were ordering a couple of shots at the bar, a group of girls all surrounded the young woman who was nearly assaulted and ushered her out.
Callisto smiled across the bar as the woman behind the bar poured out two shots and pushed them towards them saying with a wink that they were on the house. “But drink up, coz the cops are probably going to show up anytime now,” she told them, gesturing with her head towards a fire exit in a dark corner of the club. Callisto toasted the girl and clinked her glass with Bo’s before downing it, grabbing her jacket off the bar stool she’d left it on before the fight and headed to the exit with Bo on her heels.
Bo knocked back the shot, then wiped her mouth with her sleeve. She set the glass down, then followed after Callisto. The two moved through the alarmed door, though it didn’t make a sound. Perhaps someone cut it a while ago, and no one cared to fix it? Either way, they were out into the cool air of the alleyway in no time. “You had some pretty amazing moves back there,” Bo said, giving her new friend a smile.
“Thanks, you too,” Callisto grinned at Bo as they walked quickly through the alley side by side. “Where’d you train?”
“On the streets, mostly.” Fighting just sort of came natural to Bo. She gave a little shrug. “I’ve been thinking about trying to find a gym, but I just plain don’t have the cash.” She admitted, frowning a bit. One had to have a good job to have expendable cash.
Callisto laughed at that, “Oh I hear ya, sister.” They turned on to the main street, away from the bar, walking briskly through the cold air. “I’d offer you a ride...if I’d brought my bike out tonight,” she joked. “You live far?”
“Nah, I’ve got my car,” Bo said, motioning to the beat up, yellow mustang that she’d driven. “Can I get you a ride home?” She offered, walking in that direction toward the car. She could hear sirens in the distance.
Callisto looked over her shoulder as the sirens wailed and grimaced. "Yknow what, that'd be great, I don't really care for another night in a jail cell," she smiled. "I'm only about ten minutes away," she told her.
Bo nodded. Who would want to spend another night in a jail cell? She led the way over to her car and unlocked the passenger side for Callisto, pulled the door open for her new friend, then hopped in herself on her side. “Just give me directions. I’ll drive carefully.” Didn’t really need to be said, but with police coming to their location, she didn’t want to flee like a bank robber and draw attention to herself.
"Thanks," Callisto took hold of the open door and got in. "If you go up three blocks, then left, about ten blocks down is my apartment block," she smiled as she buckled up.
“No problem.” Bo turned on the car and pulled away from the curb, following Callisto’s instructions. “I don’t often run into gals all by themselves in bars at night.” Though, when she did, she was always on the lookout.
“Heh,” Callisto laughed. “I’m not one for crowds, too many potential problems. If there’s just me I know I can handle it,” she shrugged. “What brought you out tonight then? Or do you have the intuition to tell you when a girl’s about to get molested in a nightclub?”
“It’s a superpower.” Bo said, teasing. “I can see into the future. Only about girls who are by themselves in bars and about to get into trouble.” She stopped at a red light, following Callisto’s instructions to take the other woman home, and was glad to put more space between herself and the bar behind them. “...wouldn’t that be awesome, actually?”
"Certainly wouldn't be lacking in this city," Callisto laughed grimly. She took a deep breath, re-adjusting her position in her seat. "What do you do then? Apart from rescuing the helpless, Wonder Woman?" she teased with a grin.
Bo laughed. “Wonder Woman? I know my Halloween costume now.” She grinned, driving down the street. “I’m looking for a job. I put in an application to this great club, fingers crossed, yeah?” She said, holding up a hand with her fingers crossed, then bringing it back to the wheel. “Normally I bartend or bounce. Sometimes I’ll waitress. Depending on where I can find work.”
Callisto laughed heartily at that, resting her arm on the car door. “Cool, you’ll have to let me know where, I’ll come join you occasionally,” she commented. “Hollywood’s not always a kind mistress anymore,” she remarked sadly.
“Yeah, that’s what I hear.” Bo said, pulling up to Callisto’s place. This was the part where she might try to get an invitation upstairs. “...try to stay out of trouble?”
Callisto shot the girl an amused look, "Why on earth would I do that?"
Bo grinned. “That’s my girl.”
Callisto grinned as she unbuckled herself. She looked at her watch and sighed, “It’s still early, wanna come up for a drink while we play Street Fighter or something?”
Bo put it in park, and turned off the car. “Do I ever.” She said, then climbed out and walked around to meet Callisto on the curb.
Callisto removed herself from the car and waited for Bo to lock up her car before heading towards the apartment building. She keyed in her code and galantly held the door open for Bo, bowing as she moved past. "M'lady," she smiled.
Bo liked that. She found she liked Callisto. “Thank you m’dear,” Bo said, stepping in. “You get all revved up after a fight like that. I don’t think I could sleep now if I wanted to.”
“Tell me about it,” Callisto agreed with a chuckle as she followed her in. She led Bo up to her apartment on the third floor, unlocked the door and showed her in. “Make yourself at home,” she told her, tossing the keys on the sideboard as she moved to the kitchen. “Fancy a beer?”
Bo moved into the apartment, shrugged off her jacket, and laid it on the back of a chair. “Sure. Love one.” She said, then turned to follow Callisto into the kitchen. “Nice place.”
“Thanks,” Callisto opened the fridge and pulled out two bottles or beer, pulling off the tops by hand and throwing the caps on the sink before handing one to Bo. “It does the job,” she raised hers to clink bottle with hers in a mock salute. “Bottoms up,” she smiled, then took a swallow from the bottle.
Bo clinked her bottle against Callisto’s, then gulped from it as well. “So... Did you really want to play games?” She asked. Double entendre? Maybe.
"Thought we already were, sweetheart," Callisto remarked, giving Bo a pointed look and a smile before taking another swig.
Bo gave a soft chuckle, setting her beer down on the counter. “I said, do you really want to.” She said, taking a step closer to Callisto.
Callisto's eyes didn’t flicker from Bo's as she advanced, "No."
“Good.” Bo lifted a hand to trail a fingertip down the side of Callisto’s face. “Then maybe we should stop?” She was leaning in, awfully close, practically breathing in the other woman’s scent.
Callisto tilted her head to one side as Bo trailed a finger down her face as she studied Bo’s face. She regarded the other woman for a long minute, eyes flicking up and down her face. She pushed forward, sliding the beer in her hand back on the kitchen counter before pulling Bo close and kissing her fiercely.
The kiss was hungry and passionate, but not the hunger that Bo was feeling from the dreams. She wrapped her arms around the other woman and pulled her close, then started to stumble backward, dragging Callisto with her toward the hallway, what she assumed was the bedroom.
Callisto kept her close with one hand as they stumbled down the short hallway, using her other hand to push open the door to her bedroom when they reached it. Moving them into the room, she pulled Bo's top off and hers in short order, returning to kissing her, then ran her hands down the curve of Bo's back to squeeze her ass and pull her closer.
Bo returned the attentions with enthusiasm. First tops came off, then kisses moved from mouths to necks to shoulders, and bras were removed. It was hungry and wanton, and Bo pulled Callisto onto the bed with her, tumbling and chuckling, all arms and legs.
Laughing as she landed on top of Bo, Callisto pushed a hand into her hair and pulled Bo's head back, kissing her almost savagely and growling against her mouth.
Bo’s hands started to explore the other woman’s body, finding the sensitive spots, as the night dissolved into a blur of skin on skin, gasping grinding and passion. There were laughs, growls, moans and cries. After both were completely satisfied, Bo was laying in Callisto’s bed, half covered with a sheet, struggling to catch up with her breath. Her body was still humming with pleasure.
“That was amazing.”
Callisto lay back on the bed with a heavy, contented sigh as she tried to catch her breath. The sheet was just barely covering her body as she lay next to Bo. "Well...that was...unexpected..." she joked.
Bo chuckled. “It was? How so?” She asked, finally rolling over onto her side to look at her new friend.
"Well..." Callisto rolled onto her side to face Bo. "When I got ready to go out this evening, going home with gorgeous, kick-ass chick was not on the agenda," she winked. "A lot of drink, maybe a fight or two...but not this," she grinned at Bo.
