Obi-Wan wiped what remained of the blood under his nose with his own short shirtsleeve, smearing some across his cheek. The possibility of it being broken was the furthest thing from his mind. What was unbroken was his steady pace, as his circled Loras. His grip on the staff, however, had changed somewhat. Be clutched it close to the bottom, where what would have been the hilt of some other weapon.
Warrior. Obi-Wan questioned whether or not Loras was attempting to mock him. He certainly wasn't giving him any other sign of emotion.
He began to consider what had gone wrong, if it had been his fault for falling out of sync, or some larger failing in his overall talent. He was supposed to be the best. Why wasn't he the best?
"In your dreams, what are you?"
Obi-Wan felt like a kettle about to whistle. If he was meant to tap into something other than his anger, then someone would need to show him quickly.
