Loras thought perhaps he could die any moment and that would be all right. It would be all right because he knew this was what he loved. He knew that this was what he was born for, that even thought Obi-Wan was a warrior, Loras himself was a knight. For a few seconds, he thought he heard the clang of metal armour -
Then it was all over.
Obi-Wan was on his knees, holding his hand over his nose as blood leaked through his knuckles. It took a moment for Loras to come back down from his cloud, but no more than that. He placed his own bo down, peeled off his t-shirt (although Obi had requested he keep his clothes on) and knelt to a crouch in front of the warrior.
"Hold this," he instructed as he pressed his t-shirt against Obi-Wan's nose.
