James nodded in agreement. "My parents and I just didn't talk about it at all. We still don't talk. They call and ask about work and then quickly get off the phone." He frowned at the thought. At one time, he thought it would get easier, but now he wasn't sure he would bother. They had to know already. "Sorry about yours though. I think mine would act the same way if I actually dared say it."
His head tipped to the side. "Isn't that a bit like having your cake and eating it too? Doesn't he mind?" James didn't really mind either, he decided. It was an unusual approach, but if they lived with it, he supposed it wasn't that bad.
