Ash was in a good mood. He had experienced a little more luck lately, in life, winning a $500 lotto prize, and managing to push past some of his old limits in his chosen sports, and even with women. So he was feeling like life was pretty awesome tonight. Of course, it was laundry night, which usually depressed him, but tonight he was humming.
He had started the laundry, then left, and when he came back in, he carried Chinese take out, smiling as he settled with it, and a book, and glanced around.
Alice had a washer and a dryer at her house. One of the benefits of living at home with her parents. She was out tonight, though, having parked in the lot behind the laundromat to cut through and head over to the coffee shop next door. It didn’t have a lot, and street parking was difficult.
She was on her way back through the lot when she smelled the Chinese that a guy was eating. Her nose turned before the rest of her. “...man, that smells good. What is it?”
Ash laughed, and then called out to her. “Original General Tsao’s chicken. Want some, beautiful?” He was well dressed, and smiling warmly as he waved a hand toward the chair next to him.
Alice glanced at the doorway where she’d been heading to go to her car, then back to him. She moved over and took a seat. “Nah, that’s okay. I don’t think it’d go with my crappusugarcaramelmochabeverageccino thingy.” She said, holding it up and giving a grin. “With six shots.”
Ash smirked and then nodded. “Maybe right. In that case you should have just one bite...” He took a spare fork and wiggled one of the pieces in the sauce, then held it out for her, waggling his eyebrows. “I might have to get me some of that caffeine. :Laundry is boring.”
Alice gave a little grin. “Yes. Yes, laundry is boring.” She said, then leaned forward and bit the chicken off the fork. It was a quick motion, nothing sexy about it. Alice was young, inexperienced, and didn’t know all that much about flirting. Really. She was trying. “But this makes it so much more interesting.”
Ash smirked as she bit the chicken off. Not sexy, no, but she was still hot and he grinned. “Having someone sexy to share it with makes it definitely more interesting.” There, he had spoken his own thoughts very clearly.
He munched one piece, then offered her another. “One more? I do love watching things going into those lips of yours.”
The abnormally pale skin of Alice’s cheeks went a little pink. She broke into a smile and leaned forward to bite the chicken off the fork again. A little slower this time. “If I find out,” she said, not necessarily the most lady-like of things, but she spoke through the mouth full of chicken, “that you’ve slipped some date rape drug in here...” It was obvious that she was kidding.
Ash chuckled and then stroked her hair, idly, suddenly, before dropping his hand, blushing. “Nope. Just good old fashioned Chinese Food. If I was going to take you to bed, Alice, I would just...” And he leaned forward, “lean forward, and...” and he kissed her, lightly, before sitting back. “kiss you. Like that. Only more so.” he nodded.
Alice jumped a little after the kiss. Her hand came up to press against her lips, eyes wide as dinner plates. “...oh. Um. Right. Of course you would.” She said, nodding and stuttering a little. She was caught completely off guard. “Because that’s the thing that people do when they... um... y’know.”
“Well, see, we don’t know each other well, but I think you’re hot. And I’d love to find out how hot. But you seem like you’re not ready, and so... you know. I’m not trying to push.”
He nodded and smiled at her, warm.
“Good. No pushing. Pushing is bad.” Alice returned his smile. “...let’s just start with... hi. I’m Alice Cullen.” She held her hand out for him to shake.
He held out his hand too. “I’m Ash Ketchum, and I’ll be your admirer for the evening.” He winked at her.
Alice chuckled. “...Ash. Hi.” She shook his hand. Her grip was strong. “Well, I have to admit, I really enjoy being admired.”
He then kissed her hand and grinned. “Good. Because, I could to it silently if you would rather, but I’d rather not.” He chuckled. “I’d tell you exactly what I wished I could do, but that might be pushing.”
Alice flushed. "Well, maybe a little pushing is okay," she flirted. Surprisingly successfully.
“A little pushing hmmm? Would it be just a little to say that I very much want to use my tongue right now, and not on this food? And that I would love to see you return the favor?”
Ash smirked, eyes darker with lust.
Alice gave a little laugh. She was a bit embarrassed, and very flattered. “You really just... say it like it is, don’t you?” She added, lifting her crazy, milkshake-like coffee drink from the straw. “...I think that might be a bit more than a little pushing.”
Ash nodded. “Then I’m sorry.” He bowed his head to her in apology and smiled anyway. She was shy, and it showed in this. And she made him chuckle. If he was not one who loved his pleasures so much, he might be like her. But he did. And there was nothing wrong with either way of being, in his view.
“It’s okay. It’s... fine.” Alice pulled herself up from the chair. “You should call me sometime.” She said, giving him a smile. “Y’know... take me out for more chicken.”
Ash raised an eyebrow and then nodded. “I’ll need your number for that one.” He smirked at her. “I do like my... chicken.”
Alice pulled her phone out of her pocket and handed it over to him. “Punch yours in, and I’ll text you mine.”
He took it, and his fingers flew on her phone before he nodded. "There you go beautiful."
Alice accepted it back, giving him a smile, then sent off a text to his number. She put his name in as “Ash - General Tsao’s Chicken” in her phone. “Okay. Call me.” She said, walking backward toward the door to the parking lot.
And he texted her right then and there. see you soon, sexylips....
And went back to doing laundry.
