Ben nodded. He knew how close young Nate and little Cora had been, just a few short months ago, so it seemed only natural they were still just as close. On the one hand, it was good that the strangeness hadn't pulled them apart, the way it had done to some people. But he could see where Nate might be worried about drawing negative attention.
"People who are looking to find fault will find it," Ben said, shifting lightly on his feet. "I think the best you can really do is set yourself clear boundaries, and stick to it. And to make sure you have good communication with each other, and your friends and families. Either that or avoid the situation entirely, but in your case, that would probably be more hurtful than helpful."
He grimaced. "I wish I could be this objective when it came to my own family."
