As he'd stated, Obi-Wan had left work early that day--which was not difficult at all, since he made his own hours--and driven directly to the address Ms. Colten had given him. Semi-directly. He stopped for large Starbucks coffee and dinner from Del Taco, which he was currently eating in his car while he killed time in the lot. Seemed he'd fallen back on more than one bad habit, though it would have been difficult to prove he'd ever overcome his love for the convenience (and comfort) of fast food. At least he hadn't started smoking yet...
But that's why he was here. At last, in therapy. No, they were more than just bad habits, now. The desire to be left in peace had become reclusivity, his difficulty trusting others, cutting ties. He was withdrawing from society, bit by bit, person by person, friend by friend. What he was actually trying to escape, hopefully the aforementioned Ms. Colten would help him figure out. But it frustrated him to no end that this was not something he could solve on his own. He'd run out of knots in his rope.
The tacos were eaten, and Obi-Wan at last exited his car and walked toward the office building. The coffee cup was still in his hand. He entered, signed in, and took seat in the waiting area, which was empty. Even though the room was small, it seemed quite cavernous.
