When: Yesterday, after Jubilee and Ty Lee talked
Where: Azula's condo

Rating: PG-13 for reasons
Azula could have Bellatrix strapped to a table right now. But no, thanks to her hand the Blue Flame was temporarily extinguished. It made her irritable, grouchy and all around cranky. She logged into Second Life, and got her jollies that way.
There was a small part of Ty Lee that didn't want Azula to notice that she'd come home. The incriminating duffel bag had been dragged into her bedroom the second she'd come through the door, and she was now staring down at it.
She swore it was staring back at her somehow. And there was no way she was getting out of this - Jubilee would text message her incessantly until she did, and she'd be waiting to hear what Azula's reaction was.
Why had she thought this was a good idea, again?
The duffel bag indeed stared back at her in a duffellbaggy manner of duffelbaggy doom.
Except that was silly, because duffel bags couldn't really stare at you accusingly, could they?
Ty lee pursed her lips and then let out a sound like 'pbbbbt'. What if Azula hated it? What if Azula loved it and wanted to use it on her!? GAH! Why couldn't her brain take that mental picture away? GO AWAY, MENTAL PICTURE.
She decided to take a shower first.
Which was a mistake, because she spent the entire shower with that mental picture in her head.
Azula wondered what took her so long. She hadn't even gotten a 'hello Azula!' from the girl when she'd come in, and it made her suspicious. Not suspicious enough to bother her in the shower, but suspicious.
So she waited. Patiently.
The shower hadn't really helped calm Ty Lee down, and she was almost certain that she just wasn't going to be calm until the thing in the duffel bag was finally handed over to its new owner. Any reaction had to be better than the anxiety of not knowing!
So she put her best smile on, and put some clothing on (because going out there naked was just asking for trouble), grabbed the duffle and headed out to the main living area.
Where she stared at the screen behind Azula's head, then tilted her head to the side in the hopes that a sideways view of it would help it make more sense.
"What are you doing, Azula?"
Azula looked up from her laptop, tilting her head way back to look at Ty Lee, "It's a game." What was currently going on between the virtual characters on the screen is best left up to one's vivid imagination. Second Life is a scary, scary place.
"Oh okay," came the usual brightly toned response. It wasn't her business what was going on on that screen anyway, even if she COULD figure it out. Which she couldn't. She fidgeted with the duffel bag in her hands a bit, then settled it on the table, "I got you something."
Closing the laptop, and leaving the other virtual character dangling from some contraption or another, Azula twisted around on the couch. There was genuine surprise in her voice, "You got me something?"
"It took a lot of ... well going around behind people's backs to get it, but I hope you like it!"
There was no way Ty Lee was unzipping that bag for her. Nope, as far as she was concerned the duffel was part of the gift.
Azula looked at the duffel bag on the table, then leaned over to pick it up. It was light, the duffel bag seemed like overkill for what was inside it. She unzipped the bag and peered inside!
Ty Lee bounced on her heels a bit, "I wanted to show some support for your needs, and this seemed like the right kind of thing to do that with."
Inside the bag was a treasure to behold, if you liked that sort of thing. 18 inches of buttery soft, premium royal blue suede, in tiny strips. It almost looked like Ty Lee had gotten Azula a pom pom, but there was a handle at one end of woven black leather which was also buttery soft.
"Supporting my..." Azula fell speechless, though not without a short disbelieving laugh as she fingered the flogger. Was it really labeled...it was really labeled 'Blue Flame."
She really didn't know if she wanted. Okay she wanted because it went with her outfit perfectly. She pulled it out with her good hand, not wanting to risk using her right hand just yet, "I can't believe..."
There was a particularly dangerous gleam in her eye. Or maybe that was Azula's way of giving Ty Lee a fond look. She cracked it in the air and let out a short, involuntary giggle.
"Oh you like it, that's good." the cheerfulness in Ty Lee's voice was such a contrast to the scene that it was almost laughable.
She exhaled, caressing the buttery soft leather and then sniffing it. Nnnng...It was almost too beautiful to ever actually use. She eyed Ty Lee. Azula was the one that now suddenly had certain images in her mind that wouldn't go away. Damn woman had managed to improve her mood tenfold with one gesture. She cracked it again, grinning dangerously again. She looked at Ty Lee, "It's suitable." Thank you
They were having a moment. This just wouldn't do. She cracked it in Ty Lee's direction, "Get dinner in the oven, then I need you to help me arrange the computer room. The camera positioning doesn't flatter me enough." By 'help me' that meant Ty Lee doing it while Azula directed. And cracked her flogger around. She leaned over and dragged the ends along Ty Lee's arm, just to see her reaction.
imafrakkincylon: There wasn't even a blink or leap in fear, nor did any fear reach Ty Lee's eyes as the flogger was cracked in her direction. She giggled a bit at the orders, and snapped a smart salute, then shivered a bit as the ends of the leather pieces made their way across her arm, "Soft, but kind of shuddery. They probably sting if you use enough force."
It sounded like Ty Lee had done some research. When did she have time for that? Who knows.
Azula closed her eyes. Like she was centering herself. Or calming herself. She was in control, she would always be in control. Ty Lee made her want to lose it, sometimes. She carefully put the flogger back into the duffel bag before she gave into an urge to pull Ty Lee over her lap and do kinky things to her skin.
Because Ozai's daughter was not allowed to show weakness. And feelings were the ultimate weakness.
There was a momentary confusion in Ty Lee's eyes. They'd been doing so well there up until this point. But she guessed, there had been something she'd done wrong. Maybe she'd looked at Azula the wrong way, or enjoyed the moment too much, or given it too much weight in the few seconds of it that had existed.
For whatever reason it was gone, and she shrugged her shoulders, "I'll go get dinner ready. You should relax!"
With a face not unlike the upside down V's in anime, she headed to the kitchen.
Azula followed her with her eyes, then looked back down at the duffel bag. This whole thing had been just a bit confusing. Sometimes Ty Lee was mysterious.
She narrowed her eyes, considering that, then shrugged and just accepted that Ty Lee had accepted a new(to her) part of Azula. That made things a lot easier on them both.
Which was, for all intents and purposes, pretty much exactly what it was!
