Who: Enjolras and friends (Tag in)
Where: Enj's parents' house
When: Saturday night (July 13th)
What: Les Amis are having a surprise party for Enj's birthday (July 14th) and YOU'RE Invited. Assume Courf or somebody sent texts and drove people out. It's cool if you want your characters to crash too.

Rating: This is ENJ'S party even if Courf and Bahorel are there. I think it'll stay low key.

Enjolras had dropped his parents off at the airport for their flight, then made his way back home to keep an eye on the place while they were off for a while. Their thinking, and he'd agreed with it, was that after the disaster of June, and the weirdness of the fourth of July that he'd mentioned, was that it would be a good idea for him to take the week that they were gone and get a change of pace, take advantage of the pool and Jacuzzi and get something of a break, so he'd gone with that idea.

He hadn't been expecting to find Les Amis and some of his other friends hanging around in the family room though, or Courfeyrac, in a party hat, tossing one of them at him before he'd ushered him inside to see a table set up with refreshments, some light wines, and a few bags that apparently were gifts that he wasn't going to drink. He HAD been a little worried at first, considering his parents had encouraged this and likely given Courfeyrac and Bahorel ideas about pulling him out of his shell, but so far, half an hour later, things were going well.

Newsies was playing on the living room TV, he was sipping a nice moscato, cut with sprite,and poking his way through a plate of veggies and dip as he watched the others, glad this party was staying low key, for once, and that they finally had a chance to relax a little. Everyone knew, they had needed it.

After all that had been going down? Courfeyrac was okay with quiet, mostly. Okay, so for the moment, he'd opted for singing along with the movie, and was talking off the ear of anybody who would listen, pointing out the differences with this, and the stage show that had come out not that long ago. Namely that Christian Bale was a lot hotter, and his theories on how David and Denton were obviously having an affair, but for him that was quiet. Mostly.

Later on, he planned to hit the hot tub though, if anybody wanted to join him there.

Bahorel grinned around a mouthful of doritos as he stretched out on Enjolras's parents' couch, careful to drape himself over it as much as he could. "So, I don't get this." he complained, shaking his head at the movie. "why did they make a movie about a strike that really wasn't all that awesome? And is it just me, or is this really not an appropriate musical topic? I mean, talk about dark before it gets better. And do we have more coke?"

Somebody was supposed to go and get that for him, clearly.
