Anna had been having a hard time keeping the voices quiet. They screamed things all the time. Things about the apocalypse and now things about her and Castiel. It was driving her spare. And with the upcoming visit from her parents, Anna was done. They weren't any crazier than everyone else in Orange County with their stupid shared dreams. She and Castiel hadn't even had any dreams. It was time to get out so Anna made sure Cas was ready and snuck them out.
With the cash shared between them (and what she'd stolen) Anna got them a room for a week at a cheap motel. She closed the door behind them and locked it. Dropping her small bag on the table, Anna crossed the room and settled cross-legged on the single queen bed. "We didn't have enough for two beds. Sorry."
