Juliet wrapped her arms around Ben and held him close as he cried. A part of her wondered why she hadn't cried about the situation yet and whether or not she should join him, but the tears wouldn't come. She had been the one that was betrayed after all and the one who was being manipulated by her husband in her dreams, but she had always been an exceptionally strong woman. She didn't feel the need to cry. Not yet.
"It's gone now," Juliet said. "The gun is gone and it won't come between us again." She hoped to whatever god was out there that was true. Juliet's issues with guns were severe.
