It was strange how he was both hating the dreams, and coming to accept them over time. She wasn't a negative presence, really. He was a little curious what kinds of things might be bleeding over for her--since he heard they did that.
"Can you believe it? At least they have forever stamps now. Though, we go through enough at the office, I'm in here frequently enough that it wouldn't matter if the price changed on me." He could just buy new stamps and not have to worry about the silly 1 cent and 2 cent additions they sometimes sold to keep people up to date.
