Tessa had mentioned meeting his father, and brother, and him in her dreams, but she'd tried not to go into much detail, not wanting to make him uncomfortable. She still wasn't sure how he'd feel, knowing what she was, but she hoped she could put him at ease. More than either heaven or hell in thay world, Death seemed to be the one force on the side of maintaining order for humanity. At least from her perspective.
She smiled and nodded, fanning her handful of cards. "It's nice there are some things that don't really change much. Except in price, that is."
