Cesare liked that smile of hers. She definitely knew how to charm a man with just a look. Cesare thought he was probably lucky that he wasn't easily influenced or he may have been in trouble here. Musetta had the air of a woman who was confident in herself and her power over men.
"You're welcome," Cesare replied, lifting his own drink in response before taking a small sip, his autumn-brown eyes surveying her over the rim of his glass, taking in as much of her as he could without obviously staring.
"Like I said," he carried on a moment later, lowering his glass back down to rest on the bar. "I'm trying to give the impression that I'm a gentleman." His lips twitched up slightly at one side in a genial half-smirk. He wasn't sure whether it was entirely gentlemanly to be having drinks with an attractive woman without his girlfriend's knowledge, but he wasn't sure that Charlotte would care all that much even if she did know. She'd never exactly been possessive. In fact, she often encouraged Cesare to have a life away from her, so here he was, being sociable just like he'd hoped to be.
((OOC: Sorry I didn't get to this last night. I'm still sick and my brain's kinda been dead for the last few days.))
