She just smiled at his stalling. She didn't know exactly what he was going to say. It was too soon for love on her behalf as well, but she did feel eerily, strangely bonded to him. Perhaps it was the fact that she'd died during their acquaintance that had brought them together. Death did bond families in their grieving.
"I like you too, Ray. A lot."
Squeezing his hand, she smiled lopsidedly. "I used to live in an apartment with Tate, but ... yeah, not so much. So I moved in with my friend Cass. She used to live with a couple, but they moved up North for a little while and left her the condo."
