Thor had the leash of a large, well behaved, but large, Labrador who he was taking around to visit patients who had to be stuck in over the holiday weekend. So far, he'd ended up visiting the children's ward and then some other people, and was now making his way around to another floor where the sounds of voices were attractive, and the dog seemed to smell barbeque and tugged him in that direction.
Thor shrugged, and decided that he might as well pop in now, since visitors were just as good for helping the animals socialize, and well, food and all. And then, pausing at the doorway, he started recognizing who this was, and that maybe dogs weren't the best of ideas here. Too late, now, he thought, grinning as he knocked on the door frame.
"Anyone want to visit with one of our Very Good Canine Ambassadors?" he asked, as the lab, clad in a flag printed bandana sniffed the air eagerly, but didn't make a move either.
