He laughs and sets his glass aside in order to shift closer to John on the couch. "I'd been hoping you would."

To be honest, he'd been hoping John would kiss him since they'd set the meeting, but that seemed a bit desperate to admit. He's been lonely, but he's found a friend now. A friend who's willing to kiss him.
