He shrugged a little, and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Oh, I've sort of gotten used to people looking at me funny," he replied. He turned a little, glancing back towards the door while he contemplated the idea of chimes.
"Not a bad idea; it's always best to give yourself the upper hand when possible. If you've got any, I could put them up for you before I leave..." Anders smiled at her again; she was adorable, really, and he might have laughed at her nervousness if he hadn't been sure she'd take it completely the wrong way.
"I'm Anders, by the way; I think we completely skipped the introductions the other night." He pulled one hand free of a pocket and held it out to her.
