She appreciated that Jeremy was letting her get away with the lie -- which she had no doubt he knew was a lie, she wasn't very good at lying to her family. Elena wasn't quite sure why she had felt compelled to lie in the first place, or at least, she told herself she wasn't sure. It wasn't because she felt silly, though, she was sure he wouldn't make her feel silly for being a little freaked out. There was a niggling part of her that was worried she did know why she'd lied -- that if it was a Dream, capital D and all, and not just a dream, she was hoping that Jeremy wouldn't end up the same. She'd seen enough on the Net to know that shared Dreams rarely turned out well, and while she still wasn't certain she believed in any of it, Elena wanted to protect Jeremy from even the possibility of the pain she'd seen him go through.
Tucking her legs up underneath her, she made a face at the TV. "That's the thing with the boobs, right? Used to be human -- or is it dwarven? -- now makes those orc-things? That thing is so gross."
