Obi-Wan is aging surprisingly well (obi1) wrote in valarlogs,
"I'm sorry?" Obi-Wan said, eyebrows climbing into his hairline. He continued to play dumb while he considered his options. It might have seemed very simple to say, I believe I might be a Jedi Knight, but that wasn't really an option now, was it? But he also could not indefinitely stall, and Loras was already cutting an impatient--and starting to border on intimidating--figure.
Obi-Wan shook his head. He removed his gloves and tucked them into the crook of his elbow. "Strange things have been happening. A few weeks ago, I survived a sixty-foot fall. I saw a friend of mine run straight through a wall. Yesterday, I woke up and discovered I had learned a few talents... overnight." Had Loras himself experienced the magic of the dreams, he wondered. Obi-Wan wasn't confiding in him so much as he was delivering grave news, indicated most of all by the steely glimmer in his gray eyes.
