Were it not for the completely terrified look on Loras' face, the situation would have been rather humorous. Loras hadn't bothered to put anything on and here he was, standing just outside the living room, naked, looking as if he were going to attack someone. "Gods, I'm sorry." Renly realized that he probably should have gone to wake him instead of yelling and approached Loras, cupping his face in his hands, needing to calm him down first, "I didn't mean to scare you." Renly couldn't help but feel horrible, but he'd been so shocked at seeing the crown on the dining room table that his first instinct had been to yell for Loras.
Knowing one thing that would likely help to calm Loras, Renly leaned in, hands still cupping his cheeks and kissed him. Morning breath was nothing to them anymore.
