Of course it was, but I'm still not trying to be anything. I'm stating the facts as I know them to be true.
I think that I am going to do my best to convince others of the fact. To force anything upon them would be as wrong as this. But to attempt an uprising that things may change? I'll try it willingly, and can do little else.
Of course I'm not going to fix it. We are all going to fix it, and put the power in the hands of the people it should belong to.
Exhibit A. The government is too large and has become intrusive, and controlling.
Exhibit B. The two party system is outdated and flawed, allowing no other legitimate candidates a chance to win. ALL People do not vote for their own candidate. Some, yes, I'll grant you, but many candidates who should have a fair shot are not given it, because those people who would vote for them are cowed by the major parties, having to vote against the major party candidate that they dislike by voting for the other, even if it is not their choice.
Exhibit C. Education.
Exhibit D. In times like this, government is forced upon us when it should remain in the background at best. We have not consented to these regulations, to this rule.
I do have a picture for you.
Observe, that when a government or king abuses their power the people must, in order to remain moral, for the good of all, overthrow that government or king, and thus create their own government, between them which exists a social contract between all men. A government is formed due to the people who give it power and protection, and in turn, the people do the same.
All are held to the same moral standard. ALL participate in government and its decisions.
There is no need, sir, for the government to be king and absolute monarch over every man as it is now. And when a people, one small part of it see that it is wrong, they are morally obligated to act to change it.
