Viewable to the first group, minus Wrex
I'll be on the level with you. I'm not about to quit my day job and I don't precisely know what you'd expect out of someone such as myself.
Otherwise, Stark did do a huge favour by helping out with things when called upon, and after seeing the mess that's been broadcast? I can reluctantly - very reluctantly - see the need to help out. But I'd still rather let law enforcement and the military deal with The Hulk. Or at least let Stark take a stab (not literally) at helping the giant green rage monster, since he's a super genius who's shot at a whole lot.
So as long as it's not reacting in an absolutely idiotic way, then I'll warily include myself. However, I so see this as the first step into precisely what all of us were trying to bloody well avoid, some of us more than others: Dredging up the whole rotten...well, it's not even the past, really? Whole rotten other things, from what equates to a past life of sorts. More or less.
I think it's more likely in this instance to see the government crack down on mad scientists than mutants. Or at least keep a closer eye on things they're doing in light of this little problem. Especially if SHIELD is involved? I'll expect street fights between superhero group A and superhero group B happening on a busy street corner, next Tuesday at 3:30pm. Be there with bells on.
If you schedule anything earlier than that? Then fuck the whole lot of you. I'm not rolling out of bed until after 10:30am. You're on your own. And that's the earliest I'm ever out of bed, and that's if it's a crisis situation.
Again, not sure what use I'd be. And the precise second that it becomes too reactionary and/or idiotic, people are dying in on a regular basis, and everyone bickering's about how to get things done? Then I'm out. Because that sort of mess isn't what I plan on doing with my life - in the present - and I'm relatively certain there's other people who don't really want to relive that sort of rubbish, either.
