DD: I've managed to avoid Beth DD: But I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up.
RG: What happened between you two anyway. RG: You never told me.
DD: She might have told me she uh loves me.
RG: She might have what? RG: What did you say?
DD: She just…blurted it out. DD: I didn't know what to say. DD: Next thing I know she's running out. DD: And I've been avoiding the Cellar on her shifts.
RG: I can't blame you for that but RG: You know you gotta discuss it sometime right? RG: If only because you can't keep avoiding work
DD: I know DD: I'm just not good at conversations like that.
RG: I don't think I know anyone who is. RG: You might want to figure out how you feel before you try to talk to her.
DD: I like her. DD: That's part of the problem, isn't it? DD: I'm old enough to be…well I'm old enough.
RG: Doesn't seem like that matters to her. RG: And I know you - it's not like you're going to take advantage of her. RG: But the fact you like her makes me think you need to talk to her even more.
DD: I'll remind you of this conversation if this ever happens to Judith. DD: I seem to think your reaction would be quite different. DD: I know. DD: She just ran off so I avoided it.
RG: Judith is getting locked in the attic when she gets old enough for guys to notice her. RG: I thought I'd told you that. RG: Have you tried texting her?
DD: See. It would be very different. DD: No. DD: Part of that whole…avoiding her bit.
RG: So you won't be helping me with making sure the locks are sturdy? RG: You should try texting her. RG: I'm serious.
DD: Oh I'll be helping you. DD: Can't promise not to kick the ass of whoever is unlucky enough to break her heart either. DD: Maybe.
RG: You think I'm going to ask you not to? RG: Hell - I'll probably be right there next to you if some body breaks her heart. RG: What's the worst Beth could say?
DD: Listen we both can't end up in jail. DD: I don't know Rick. DD: Alright. Maybe I'll text her.
RG: We'll take turns. RG: One idiot you get to kick their ass the next one I get. RG: If you do - let me know how it goes. RG: I'm curious now
DD: Turns it is. DD: I will.
RG: And the one who doesn't get arrested gets to bail the other out. RG: Carl doesn't get a turn. RG: That would be bad parenting. RG: You should come over this weekend. I learned how to not burn spaghetti
DD: Save the fun for us. DD: Only a little bit. DD: Who's giving you cooking lessons?
RG: Gotta have fun somewhere. RG: I keep trying. RG: And Food Network seems to help calm Judith down when she's fussy at night.
DD: Alright. DD: I'll let you know how it goes when I come over this weekend. DD: Or I'll be by for a drink before that.
