>> Sometimes people get pushed too far >> There are people called mutants in my dreams >> A gene gives them powers, or changes how they look >> an' naturally people fear them. Hate them. Try to kill them or put them in concentration camps >> Some hold rallies, or fight for reform >> Others take out the killers before the killers can take them out >> But then there are the ones that cross the line an' hurt innocents to make a point. >> Which only makes the base-line humans more scared. >> Never could figure out why they hated mutants more than they hated the people who got powers through science or an accident. >> Maybe because a mutant is born with it. It's a part of them, just like skin color or sexuality >> But anyone can get bit by a radioactive spider, or exposed to cosmic rays. An' if it don't kill you, maybe it'll turn you into a super hero. >> It ain't like every mutant gets to pass for a human. God help you if you've got a beak for a face, or pink skin. >> But a man like that, pushed to the extreme >> I've seen it happen. Hell, if he didn't hurt innocent people I'd applaud him.
