RE: End Of Month Notes, April 2012
Happy Monday! Just a few reminders for the company as we transition into May!
Employee Dress Code Policy:
As we move into the warmer months, it becomes apparent there has been some confusion on several levels regarding what is considered acceptable clothing for Wayne Enterprises. Included is a brief reminder on the Wayne Enterprises dress code, and what we'll be expecting in the coming months.
Remember that we maintain a business formal dress code, and as follows, the standard for employee clothing generally consists of a suit or dress with appropriate accessories as indicated.
Fridays are, of course, our business casual days, in which acceptable clothing options are expanded.
You may review the guidelines for both standards of dress at your convenience online, or with your manager, but please be advised that at no time is clothing meant to be wrinkled, torn, dirty, or frayed. Open toed shoes are acceptable, but please be advised that this does not mean thong sandals or crocs are an acceptable form of footwear.
Please keep these guidelines in mind as we move into a great summer!
The 7 Habits Lecture Series:
Once again, we will be offering our lunch time meeting workshops covering Covey's "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" beginning Thursday afternoons at noon in second floor breakout room 7. We anticipate a large group of people, and spaces are filling up quickly, so please sign up as soon as possible to ensure your space for this exciting opportunity to learn, or renew your understanding of these helpful skills.
Annual Picnic:
The Wayne Enterprises Picnic is fast approaching. Please email administration with your preference dates of a weekend between June and August so that we can secure the necessary shelters and organize the catering as efficiently as possible. Please also ensure that any allergy or dietary preferences are noted so that we can pass the information along to the catering company as soon as possible.
Summer Baseball:
In the interest of furthering company growth and interdependence, we are pleased to remind you that sign ups for the Wayne Enterprise Knights baseball team are taking place, and tryouts for positions will take place on May 3rd and 4th, from 6:00-8:00 PM on the picnic grounds. Please try out or come to support your team. All are welcome to attend and play!
Corporate Team Building Retreat:
We are hoping to offer a team building retreat sometime in the summer months, and looking into appropriate and interesting venues in which we can grow to get to know each other, and promote a healthy trust and leadership abilities in all of you. Please forward the suggestions to Administration for consideration.
A Word From Tech Support:
Please be advised that, following the influx of viruses and decline in productivity of the past month, Tumblr and Twitter have been blocked by Technical Support. While it is understandable that this will make breaks difficult, the new changes will ensure Wayne Enterprises grows and flourishes as it has continued to do so far!
Please keep this information in mind as we move into the month of May, and have a wonderful week here at Wayne Enterprises.
