I've felt for a long time that the Ranch wasn't exactly my place to be. I'm only a mutant until I dream otherwise. I know that, now, because it happened to Jubilee too. I'm not really as connected to the 'x-club' as I'd like to be. I left, and they grew without me. I can't really blame them.
When Wrex left I didn't know how to feel about that. He was my sponsor, I don't know if you knew that. But he never doubted where my place in the world was, at least where the horses were concerned.
I think the best part about Urdnot Ranch, the ideals it was based on and the way Wrex wanted it to work, is that you can always find a place for yourself there if you're looking for it. We really do need a carpenter for spot jobs, and having you living on the premises could be a boon in other ways, too.
I think you'll feel like you're giving something back, too, for living in the space. I know that's important to you.
