Email via PM. (The email goes out to everyone with whom Steve has ever had a pleasant interaction. So. Avengers, Pepper, Peggy, Bucky, Coulson, Hill, Fury, Loki and Sif, Orb, Dany, Tyrael, Cinna, Kitty, and Jean. And if I've forgotten someone, please poke at me and I will add them! The PMs are sent through Valarnet, since he probably doesn't have everyone's personal email address.)

On July 2, 1776, the Continental Congress voted to adopt the Lee Resolution, offered by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia. Although the final text of the Declaration of Independence was not approved until July 4, on the evening of July 2nd the Pennsylvania Evening Post announced this day the Continental Congress declared the United Colonies Free and Independent States.
On the same day in 1777, Vermont became the first American territory to abolish slavery. In 1890, Congress passed the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. In 1964, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act.
I'm telling you all of this so that, when I tell you that Monday is also my thirtieth birthday, there won't be any sparkle-text or excitement, because it's really not a big deal compared to what has come before. It's just another day, but I'd like to celebrate it and I'd like to celebrate with all of you. I'm going to be grilling in the Irvine Regional Park starting about 6:30 and I'll probably stay until dark. I'll provide burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, regular salad, soda and water. Just bring yourselves if you'd like to come, plus any outdoor games you might want to play.
If you can't come, that's fine. I know it's short notice.
