He was no longer an unknown name sitting on the reserves bench, neck craned up. He was starting for Puddlemere. Starting, and with no one above him. Nothing above him but skies.
There was nothing like it. Mounting his broomstick, you would have thought he was something bigger than life. The crowds in the stands were spilling over the brims with excitement, and having thousands of hands clap together in thunderous applause and erupt in cheers when his name was announced and he kicked off the ground, shooting up to his goal posts -- there was nothing better.
There couldn’t be. This was what he had daydreamed about, dreamed for, for so long.
