"Hmm." Elspeth's mouth pursed. "I suppose you have one of those faces," she mused, not allowing him to escape her scrutiny. Another possibility occurred to her and she tipped her head. "Or maybe we've passed one another on the street. I'm quite good with remembering strangers, once they've caught my eye. If we should run into one another again, I'll most certainly remember."
She glanced to Mr. Armitage and found him silent on the matter. Probably hoping she would stop chattering and accompany him for that glass of wine, so that he could retire to his seat. Since the lanky man nearly bowled them over, the musicans had taken the stage and struck up a tune.
