His attention flicked to the boy on the stairs and the priest for a minute, before turning his attention back to the far more interesting case of why exactly John Abbott had chosen this precise moment to apparently take the strange woman's side to usher her away.
Simon let out a huff of disapproval and rolled his eyes, "For the love of God John, think with something else for five seconds? Honestly, do you have to reapply yourself to the art the very minute you discover that a woman is french?" He muttered as his friend passed him, keeping his eyes aimed up at the ceiling and effectively still ignoring everything of import happening at the moment.
