Izzy, for his part, had been sitting downstairs and wondered why anyone, especially someone so sensible as Fox, would have even bothered to question it anymore. A lump of nervousness still formed in his throat, however, even if she knew that she was likely not in trouble. If anything, he didn't feel like getting up off the couch, though he guessed that some apparition would make him do so in a moment or so.
It wasn't an apparition that drove him upstairs, but the number of people he heard running through the house towards where he assumed Fox was. Following suit, he jumped off the couch and ran upstairs, wondering if this was the real thing, if the spirit was now taking an active role in their deaths and Fox was the first one it chose and oh Jesus, Jesus how could he have been so stupid when she was clearly in trouble.
The fact that all the vampires seemed to have gotten there put him on edge a bit, but not nearly as much as it would have a few days before. He relaxed a little, since Fox appeared to be standing and in vaguely good shape, though she, like everyone else, seemed fatigued. He crossed to her and asked, "Is everything alright?"
