"No...she's," he thought for a moment, about the fact he'd seen in the window and the girl he remembered, "Older'n me, brown hair, a bit on the spotty side. Never noticed her neck, but I don't think we're talkin' about the same girl." He gave a small smile, though the situation wasn't funny at all. "She didn't invite me in - the owner place has her locked up in one of these rooms - checked all of 'em now, twice over, but I haven't seen any sign of her."
Though his expression kept its earnest, if somewhat guileless look, Izzy was trying to come up with a very quick plan for dispatching of the vampire. He figured that, at least for now, it would be easiest not to give himself up and try to come off as friendly and keep the vampire close.
