Seeing the gentleman descend the stairs and attempt to open the door, had given Lucy a degree of puzzledment as she asked her questions, but as the attempts failed, Lucy rose an eyebrow in suspicion.
"Give it 'ere a sec'," she offered, knowing that her strength, at least, was now quite superior to that known of in her human years. If she angled something right, then it could be carried off as simply getting the technique correctly on something.
But that, too, was meeting with no success.
A burst of frustration had her kick at it, but the thing refused to budge.
Which left her at rather a loss for their next course of action.
"I wandered in 'cause I thought... Well, no matter what I thought, I startin' to think it wise if we..." Nope. The thing was stuck. "Maybe there's a, um," she suggested, moving off, "a back door..."
