By this point, Izzy was getting a bit antsy. Five civilians, three vampires, and only two capable of fighting (though there was something a little off about Mrs. Fry, in perhaps the most helpful way possible). He had been in situations where civilians had been involved, but usually there was some chance of getting them out before the fighting began.
"Agreed. If we're likely to face something, it'd have less of a chance against all of us together." It also solved the problem of the vampires attacking anyone without his knowledge, but it also created the problem of finding any way of taking to Father Verdoux alone.
