During her apprenticeship with the Inquisition, she was shown old volumes of folklore -- the accounts within ranging from the plausible to the absurd -- as well as documents of verified cases. In most instances, the dhampir proved themselves harmless, but not all.
Elspeth forgot about her height and leaned forward, curling her fingertips over the table. "There are stories of dhampir turning on the very towns they were brought in to assist.
