"Not tired per say," Simon replied lightly, as he responded to the hand on his shoulder in kind, clapping his own palm across John's arm, "Restless though. Ever restless I'm afraid." There was only so long that Simon was capable of staying within his four walls, and that time period decreased rapidly when there was the hint of the unknown out in the big, empty world. With the combination of vampires and the spree of murders through the city? It was simply impossible for Simon to keep himself contained. Whether on a deliberate mission, or an unplanned jaunt through the streets, Simon simply couldn't focus without the (perhaps more than just) occasional excursion.
"Wine, women, song, and artisans masks. Who could resist this particular diversion from their work?" Simon smiled at his comrade, before finally taking a sip of the punch he'd been carrying with him aimlessly.
