I have to admit, I'm not hugely into the horror genre, or at least not the sort that is all about the gore (I'm not good with gore/overly gratuitous violence - I prefer more psychological horror a la Identity or The Hole.) But LVK definitely falls under parody/humour and it's goreless enough that I can tolerate it (plus, it's Mathew Horne and James Corden who I like anyway).
Ah, I love it when things try to go against tradition by finding outlandish reasons for why tradition shouldn't apply >.>
