Hey there, this is just Sage giving a howdy-hi to everyone and letting 'em know that I've picked up a couple of high- maintenance pups that might eat up all my free time and brain power.
Say hello to Sweeney Todd and Jareth, they'll be my brain-leeches for the next however-long they decide to keep my keyboard working powers hostage. As such, they'll probably take up my time and I'll forget to play my other pups. So! If anyone wants to thread with any of my other pups, just poke me in the eye (or just shake me up on AIM, either will work) and let me know, alrighty? Don't even worry about my away message, it's always, ALWAYS up and snarky, so uh... just prod at your leisure.

hi,
Former lurker now Player to UndertheRainbow. I can't say much on my schedule since I'm looking for a second job, but safe to say that anytime other than night is slowtime for me.
First pup is everyone's favorite Army Lieutenant Sonya Blade from the mortal kombat series. I'm actually using her storyline from the game, as she has more plot in that story ( though that isn't much), with some influence from the novel.
changes for are that the Earth warriors were defeated, but so was Shao Kahn by his "ally" Shang Tsung. He then gives Sonya the 'choice' of either marriage or slavery.
..Circumstances aside, she's generally friendly once you look past the army veneer. |

I'm back! (Colleen/![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) illogic to the newbies. Also, Howdy!) I've been in something of a slump lately, and need the sort of crack that only UTR can provide. So, me and mine are working on getting back into the swing of things. So we're all open for random CR/prodding/IMs. But, for now, the list:
Anthony J Crowley, Good Omens: serpentinedemon Post-book, currently wandering around the New Jersey/New York border, wondering WTF happened to the city.
Abby Sciuto, NCIS: cafpow_wow Because I needed a perky goth forensic scientist. She'll likely act a lot like Edward, only older and without the funky names for people.
Gandhi, Clone High: addgandhi Who doesn't love Kal Penn, as a crazy-ass high school party boy? Expect him to make dirty jokes at all your folks, while ignoring that he's supposed to be a diplomat.
Harry Sullivan, Doctor Who (4):worksonsailors An AU of Harry Sullivan, where he and Sarah Jane actually stayed with the Doctor past when SJ left in canon. I don't know much about him right now. I gotta work on that, tonight.
Ford Prefect, HG2G: notacar Somewhere in the middle of the series, when he still travels to other planets and studies the people. Expect him to be fascinated by the normal Earth folk, in a way akin to tourists in Amish country.
[ETA] Dexter Morgan, Dexter darkerdreams Mid S2, because... honestly, I need to rewatch the end of the season XD.
In case you can't tell, my brain is a little dead tonight. So if Abby, Harry, and Ford don't post, expect them tomorrow. |

Hello, children! I know you fine people are a bit weary of plots, but listen up anyway.
Those of you who were around and paying attention a few months ago may recall my Alternate Universe Plot. For those of you who don't know, or who might need a refresher, here it is.
Most every character we bring in has some other version that could have been chosen. For every shapeshifter Supertranny Jason Todd there's a grim and gritty ultraviolent gangbuster Red Hood Jason Todd. For every intelligent and dominating Bruce Wayne there's a campy Adam West Bruce Wayne. These multiple interpretations already exist.
But there might be other ones you want to do. Maybe in some universe there's a House that, instead of becoming a doctor after encountering a Burakumin physician, became a conductor after meeting a gypsy musician. Maybe there's a Lily Evans who broke up with James after Hogwarts and moved to France. It's your character, you find the universe.
So I'm suggesting for a week or so, some of these alternates pop up instead of our better known and better loved characters.
Now, the real question is, when do you fine people want to do this?
