What: Panicked daddy and uncle need to see the newly resurrected Teja

Warnings: Probably a little swearing, nothing else.
Toki had realized only a couple minutes previous to his rushed state of putting on his coat and shuffling Miniver to the car so the hippie could drive that Teja had been reborn. He was fidgeting with his collar and his sleeves. Soren said he'd picked up Teja and was looking after him, and that made Toki a little more pleased with the situation. Soren was above and beyond a kind heart.
Teja in the meanwhile, was about a year and a half old in appearance. He had a netbook nearby so he could easily communicate without his unfamiliar oral palate giving him issue. He was only slightly in pain - growing pains of aging approximately four and a half years a day - but otherwise was quite himself. He remembered everything up until the point of his death. He'd eaten, quite plentifully and morbidly, in fact, but he was constantly and had food nearby that he snacked on idly as he read a book that he'd found in the library. He finally had picked up one of Soren's books. He was thankful for Soren's hospitality and looking in on him occasionally. He wasn't yet aware that his biological father was about to show up. |

It hadn't taken Stephanie long at all to get there, since her flat was fairly close to the London portkey. She was almost dressed for the weather, long pants and her winter jacket, fleecy scarf and a bobble hat. She had the bag with Toki's goggles in it over one arm, there were a few other things in the bag as well, fireplace s'mores called for dried apricots at the very least.
She grinned at the snow-guitar as she passed it, crunching her way up to the front steps, knocking before returning her hands to her pockets. It was cold up here. |

It hadn't taken Stephane long at all to find a place that had all-night minigolf, and it had taken her less time to convince Toki to go with her. Really that was the easiest part. She beamed at the cashier when she was given a hot pink ball, already practically bouncing, it had been a down week for her, but things were definitely starting to look up.
"So, do we want to take the left side that's liiike a walk through history first? Or the right side that's all about geometric designs and kind of makes me dizzy just looking at it?" |

Toki was a little powderkeg of emotion, lately. He was excited that Halloween was coming up, but on the other hand, he was sad because Teja was just about the biggest brat he'd ever met. He was incredibly happy that Stephanie and he were dating, but he missed his own Skwisgaar something horrible. He was delighted that his future grandson and Skwisgaar's future son were so happy together, but on the flip side of the coin, he honestly didn't know either of them very well.
He was currently over at his future daughter's house, keeping an eye on the baby Cassidy until the little guy fell asleep, and was playing him a lullabye on guitar. He was singing in his native language, softly and lightly - it was a song that he remembered from when he was young, and one of his parents' friends had come over to watch over him while his father was giving sermons. He finally saw Cassidy's eyes drift closed and the baby sucked less actively on his own fist. He smiled and slipped out of the nursery, taking his guitar with him, quiet as could be, before walking back down the stairs. He had the faraway smile on his face even as he entered the living room, and curled back up into the chair with his guitar, playing to himself. |

What: Paintball vs Blood-Filled Super-Soakers

Warnings: Pigs blood, swearing, possible friendly beat-downs.
It started with Teja. That was really all anyone needed to know. He shot Miniver with a super soaker filled with blood, and Miniver retaliated. It was then that Teja started recruiting. Somehow, word got spread fast as wildfire, and the whole place became divided. It was a battle of paintball guns versus blood weapons. The sides were constantly shifting, and people kept switching sides.
The current standing was this, as the main forces:
Blood: Teja, Toki, Nathan, and Torii
Paint: Miniver, the Skwisgaars, and Pickles.
Things could change at any moment, considering that Soren and Cassidy were called up, and Cass called up Henn and Sable. Even 359, Offdensen and Sadako were invited to join in.
Things were getting pretty messy in the huge castle. Walls and ceilings were dabbled with paint and blood. The place looked like a warzone of impressionist artists.

Stephanie had actually had to look for wrapping paper in the apartment, she hadn't needed it before and didn't know if she had any.
She found some after a few minutes and set to wrapping up the photographic yoga encyclopedia she'd gotten for Toki. First was a layer of wrapping paper, and then a couple brown paper bags, and then a couple plastic department store bags, and then another layer of wrapping paper and the ribbon. She didn't do anything halfway apparently and the finished package was about half again as big as it had started out and was just a little squishy thanks to the layering.
That done she went to sit on the couch, watching the sidewalk below and waiting as patiently as she could manage for Toki's arrival. |
