Obi-Wan straightened her skirt for the umpteenth time then smoothed her hair. She was fidgety. She didn't know why but she was. She had requested that her neighbor watch her son, the infant such a joy that he had eaten and was sound asleep once she turned him over to the neighbor. She was glad that Ray had no issue with children. It was a deal breaker she had soon discovered the few times she had gone out.
"Okay need to go," she said, taking a deep breath. She grabbed her bag and made her way out of her apartment to meet Ray at the portkey. |

Obi-Wan couldn't imagine how she was so caught unaware. But this wasn't her world or even the time of the world she had started to think of as home. Her thoughts went to her son, alone back in the real world. Away from this insanity. She was worried she was going to leave him an orphan now. Padme not there to watch over him. The wall had come out of nowhere. One moment she had been assisting the child, the next she felt pain and pressure on her body. Barely managing to get out a message, she knew at least Ray and Anakin had heard. |
