Lela had a habit of spending the night at his house lately, and she told herself it was just because she was lazy and didn't want to drive home. That wasn't the real reason but what was the point in telling him that? None.
So her last night there had been long and fun and now she was half asleep, curled up on his bed on her stomach. He had been out doing something, she didn't know what. She thought she'd take a nap and try to get some sleep while she had the chance. |

Lela didn't know why she'd had the urge to go drinking or dancing, but she wanted to avoid the club, though a bar didn't seem so bad. She told the driver to bring the car around front and then grabbed her things and got into the car, waiting for Kirk to come down. He said he was coming with her. Even said he was going to pay her attention. Right. She wasn't going to hold her breath.
At least she was going to drink enough to not worry about it. So she waited in the car for him, looking actually pretty good. She was dressed pretty nice with plenty of skin showing. |
