Why: To try and repair their relationship.

There was a bit more spring in his step as he shopped for ingredients to make her the perfect dinner. Sure, he could have magically prepared the meal or sent out for it from one of the top restaurants, but Kael took pleasure in the thought of cooking it for her and perhaps she would join in as well.
They had much to discuss, hurts to mend and a lot of apologizing to be done on his part. He only hoped that he could salvage what they had. Once he'd bought everything, he went to her apartment where he gently rapped on the door, bags in hand, and waited for her to answer. |

Why: It's the Feast of Winter Veil!

It was snowing outside, really snowing, and the sight of the falling white particles thrilled Kael to no end. This time of year had always been one of his favorite, and he had so many fond memories of his father and growing up in the great city of Quel'Thalas during this holiday. When the first day had started, Kael had taken a moment to reflect on his people whom he'd probably never see again, of past friends and family and those who were in places he couldn't reach anymore.
The ground was nice and covered, and since the cold didn't bother him all that much, Kael had wanted to just go for a walk and enjoy, well, being alive and not one of those Wretched things. So he'd asked Cyd if she wanted to just spend some time together. It'd been a long day at work, and of course, it'd been one of those days that could sap all of the cheerful feelings out of anyone. But seeing her just made him feel better. So he picked her up at her flat and took the two of them for coffee before venturing to Hyde Park. |

It took Kael a little while to find her apartment, mainly because he wasn't familiar with London's layout or areas, and he was more than embarrassed he was a few minutes late in arriving to her apartment, or flat as they referred to around here. But here he was, clean shaven and his hair still a bit damp but the tips of it sticking out a little in front, pressed clothing and all. A picture of perfection even with his glasses on. Running his hand over his clothing once, he smoothed out any wrinkles before knocking on her door. |

Where: Starbucks in London
Why: A prominent figure in her gaming life is real...and invited her for coffee.
Rating: PG at most maybe?
Intense green eyes, ones much bright than normal green eyes as per his race, scanned the crowd of people in the coffee shop as he stood off to the side, not certain what he wanted to order yet and awaiting the arrival of his companion. He didn't particularly stand out from the other people save the fact he seemed, well, perfect. Flawless skin, well defined facial features down to the smile lines around his mouth. The man practically radiated some kind of power in his presence, which caused others to stare. He had no clue as to how she was supposed to look, but he assumed she'd be able to pick him out amongst the throng of people. |

Where: London, starting near Big Ben
When: Backdated to Tuesday evening
Why: They're strange and have much to discuss.
Rating: PG at most? These aren't smutty characters (go figure)
Kael, by birth and station, was a patient man, and he'd spent a few minutes pacing near the base of the building, his arms folded as if he were holding something in. He had a habit of that, as well. Holding things in, holding back. Not fighting for something when he should have. He teleported up to a ledge near the face of one of the clocks, trying to burn some of the energies he felt crackling through him. He still felt a mixture of disappointment and anger at what he'd discovered earlier. The thing he'd become. How he'd lost himself to the addiction. He was thankful he didn't feel that addiction to magic here that his race had developed in their world. Kael took the time to pause from his pacing to look at the moon and stars, the few that were emerging already, and a hint of a smile graced fine lips. Perhaps this place would offer a promise of a future. |
